Santa may be making a list and checking it twice, but he's going to headbang all the way from the North Pole, thanks to the Solid State Records: A Very Metal Christmas tour, which will feature Living Sacrifice with the Showdown, Becoming the Archetype, To Speak of Wolves and As They Sleep.

The tour marks the first time that Living Sacrifice have hit the West Coast in a long time. "We are pretty excited to do this short tour out to the West Coast," Living Sacrifice singer/guitarist Bruce Fitzhugh told Noisecreep. "We have not made it out there this year except for a one off show we did in Pomona. So this is a chance to get out west with some of our friends in the Showdown and Becoming the Archetype."

The trek boasts the label's best metal acts and reminds us of those old 'label showcase' tours. "It has been quite a while since Solid State sponsored a full tour, so this is a chance for heavy music fans to see five of the best bands that the label has, including newcomers To Speak of Wolves and As They Sleep "

It is a festive -- and not mention chilly -- Christmas season tour. But for the holidays, Fitzhugh hopes to get a minute off and spend time with this three daughters. "I will just be hanging with family in Nashville and eating good food," he said. "And not working ... hopefully, haha!"

In addition to the Living Sacrifice tour dates, the band is reissuing 'The Infinite Order' on Nov. 30 via iTunes. The deluxe edition will contain a 30-minute, eight-song, DVD-quality video and three bonus tracks, including the unreleased song 'Glasshouses.'
