Cannabis Corpse Announce ‘Nug So Vile,’ Debut ‘Cylinders of Madness’ Video
Cannabis Corpse, kings of chronic and the finest purveyors of marijuana-themed death metal, are back with their sixth album, Nug So Vile, this time paying homage to Canada's Cryptopsy with the album title. Hear the new song, "Cylinders of Madness" and get the details on the new record toward the bottom of the page.
The song, which takes inspiration from Decapitated's "Spheres of Madness," is loaded with riff-tastic reefer madness. Cannabis Corpse's themes may be tongue-in-cheek (just check out the animated video where Adam and Eve smoke from a forbidden bong), but the music is a deadly serious take on classic death metal, as has always been the case with the Virginia-based group.
Nug So Vile also marks the recording debut of guitarist Adam Guilliams who joins mainstays LandPhil (Municipal Waste) and his twin brother Hallhammer (Gatecreeper - live). The album comes out Nov. 1 on Season of Mist and is the band's first full length since issuing Left Hand Pass in 2017.
