Becoming the Archetype guitarist and consummate baseball fan Seth Hecox checked in with Noisecreep again this year to offer his predictions for the 2011 MLB season. In honor of Opening Day tomorrow, Hecox is going on record with his picks for each and every division, along with divisional Wild Cards. Hecox and invites you to argue with him about his choices on the band's Facebook and/or Twitter.

Becoming the Archetype's album 'Celestial Completion' is out now.

AL East: Boston Red Sox:

"I'm a fan and they just look great. Seriously, without injuries, who's gonna beat 'em?"

AL Central: Chicago White Sox:

"Man, this one's tough. Both Central divisions are. I'm gonna go with the White Sox because of their obvious moves toward competition this off-season. I love the Twins and want them to succeed, but the pitching just isn't there this year. Maybe a late season move will make it work out for them. I love Jim Leyland and the Detroit Tigers, but they don't have their heads on straight yet. Sorry, Eminem."

AL West: Texas Rangers:

"I know it's easy to call for a repeat, but I just think they're gonna be okay. Losing Cliff Lee is tough, but Nolan Ryan is in charge of this organization now. Nolan 'bleepin' Ryan. He doesn't put up with nonsense. If you don't believe me, ask Robin Ventura, who felt Ryan's fist four times after charging the mound."

AL Wild Card: Tampa Bay Rays:

"It's a tough division and I'm sure I'll be wrong. But I think the Wild Card is gonna come out of the East in both Leagues. My boy Manny Ramirez is down there now getting in shape and clowning around with old Boston pal Johnny Damon!"

NL East Philadelphia Phillies:

"The Phillies are the Red Sox of the NL. Except that I'm not a fan. I hate these guys, but they're awesome and you can't deny it. Screw those guys."

NL Central: Milwaukee Brewers:

"Man, this is a tough division and I probably would've picked the Cardinals a week ago. But that Adam Wainwright injury is a sure bummer. Cubs have a high payroll, but man, seriously? And the Reds are good, but maybe just not quite as good as the Brewers. Plus I like Milwaukee as a city more than I like Cincinnati."

NL West: San Francisco Giants:

"Again, I know it's easy to choose a repeat performance, but they're good, okay? Plus, Brian Wilson (not the musical one) has a beard that will eat the competition out of its sheer metal attitude."

NL Wild Card: Atlanta Braves:

"I'm a fan and they are really solid. A couple question marks are there, but they'll fill them. Atlanta is the team of the south and always will be."

"I'll even go so far as to predict the playoffs, but please understand I know I'll be wrong, so don't consider me an arrogant jerk. I'm just giving you my thoughts and when I'm wrong, tell me I suck on the band's Facebook or website here," he said.

ALCS:

"Red Sox over Texas Rangers."

NLCS:

"Phillies over Braves."

World Series"

"Red Sox over Phillies. Boom! Done!"
