The Showdown's brand of Southern metal is best exemplified by 'Bring It Down,' a gnarly barn burner from their new album, 'Blood in the Gears.' Noisecreep is proud to premiere 'Bring It Down,' which is fueled by the kind of thrash-tacular, unbridled energy that makes punk rock go. It's one of the fastest songs in the Showdown's catalog, and we like it when the band stomps on the gas pedal with a lead boot.

But the song isn't all fists and fury. It's also got a smart message behind it! "This song is a call to rebellion, a call to recognize injustice and stop lending it credibility by acting like there is nothing we can do about it," guitarist Josh Childers told Noisecreep. "This country, and the ruling class in general, have made their fortunes on the backs of the people of the third world. We have all we need on this planet for everyone to be free and no one to starve. Power comes from ideas, educate yourself and tear this tower down."
