Endeverafter

"Last year I was a zombie. I was a great-looking zombie, too," says Endeverafter lead singer and guitarist Michael Grant of his Halloween memories. "My makeup was disgusting, it was awesome! My younger years, I'd always dress up like the Crow -- predictable. Only because it was so easy. I always have that frame of being half-Asian and all. It was an easy costume to have. Everyone was always like, 'Oh my god, it's the Crow!'"

It's almost time for Halloween, the most metal of all holidays. While some of us tend to go the funny or sexy route for Halloween, Grant says he's all about the gore. "You know, Halloween for me ... I just wouldn't feel right being a hot dog or something. For me, it's all about the scare factor. It's ghouls and goblins, it's not about being the Hamburlgar."

Grant isn't the only member of Endeverafter with some big Halloween dress-up plans. Rhythm guitarist Kristan Mallory has some costume ideas of his own. "I'm thinking the [Jareth the goblin king] from 'Labyrinth.' I'm gonna be David Bowie," he explains.

Of course, being a demon -- and thus David Bowie -- requires some great hair and clothes. No problem for the guitar master. Mallory tells Noisecreep he's planning on getting "one of those wild Tina Turner wigs" and spray painting it to match the rest of his garb.

Endeverafter are currently in the studio, working on a follow-up to the 2007 release 'Kiss or Kill.'
