The Acacia Strain Want You to Guess the Name of New Album on Twitter

The Acacia Strain have finished recording their new album, due out July 20 through Prosthetic. But these western Massachusetts-based chuggernauts aren't going to simply reveal the album title via some boring, tired press release. That would be too easy and too trite. Rather, the band is running a contest on their Twitter page where fans can guess the title. If that's not too much work for you and you're not lazy, follow the band where they will unveil one letter per day at noon ET. The first fan to properly guess the title wins a T-shirt.

"We wanted to do something fun, and get everyone ready for what is about to come," vocalist Vincent Bennett told Noisecreep. "We use Twitter a lot as a band and personally, so it seemed a fun way to reach a lot of people and get the word out first."

The Acacia Strain will also be a part of this summer's Cool Tour.
