Well with a full recovery from this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in Worcester, MA I'm back into the grind and ready to deliver for all your thrashing needs. Here's what's going on in the pit this week.

WHEN THRASH COMES: With a new album in the works, Danish thrashers Artillery have unveiled their latest album artwork for their fifth studio release, 'When Death Comes' along with tracklisting. Slated for an August 11 release in the states the album will be coming to you through Poland's Metal Mind Productions. Track titles listed on the album include: 'When Death Comes', 'Upon My Cross I Crawl', '10.000 Devils', 'Rise Above It All', 'Sandbox Philosopsy', 'Delusions Of Grandeure', 'Not A Nightmare', 'Damned Religion', 'Uniform', 'The End', 'Refuse To Live - Part 2'*, 'Warhead'*, 'Chaos Ride'*. (* - bonus tracks for Japanese and digipak versions of the album). As more details surface look to Noisecreep with continuing updates.

WALK THE PLANK: Generating some buzz as of late with their appearance on this year's Paganfest, New Jersey's Swashbuckle posted a blog entry recently releasing the latest artwork for their debut album 'Back To The Noose'. Set for a July 24 release through Nuclear Blast Records, the band includes in their post, "... new tracks are about to be unleashed REAL SOON!!". So while I'm waiting for those new tracks, I'm going to hunt for buried treasure.

I SHALL NOT FEAR: In the midst of New England Metalfest, it was brought to my attention that Kenosha, WI thrashers Lazarus A.D. premiered their first video titled "Thou Shall Not Fear" off of their debut album 'The Onslaught' on Metal Blade Records. So of course to give those boys much love, be sure to take a sneak peek of the new video online and do some windmills in your living room. Your parents will approve-- trust me!
