Female-fronted dynamo Landmine Marathon spoke about working with Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland on the design of their 7" release. Bassist Matt Martinez spoke about working with Borland, revealing a family connection, saying, "Ryan [Varela], our guitarist, is a longtime friend of Wes' wife's family. That is the direct connection. Wes is an amazing artist and also a death metal fan. We asked him if he would be interested in doing some art for us and he agreed. He worked directly with [vocalist] Grace [Perry] and the art was born based on the lyrical themes. We couldn't be happier with the outcome!" Maybe LB impresario Fred Durst will drop vocals on a future Landmine Marathon tune? Perhaps not! [Loudwire]

Check out Thy Will Be Done's 'You, The Apathy Divine,' which is streaming live today. It appears on the Rhode Island band's new EP, due out this summer. Frontman J. Costa spoke about the new song, saying, ' "The song, 'You, The Apathy Divine' occurs in what is the proverbial middle of the EP and is a pivotal point of the recording with its own musical and lyrical intermezzo. For me, its timbre exudes the anguish and despair of someone dealing with infidelity after having just lost multiple relatives. That's what happened in my life and I needed to express it." Have a listen and see if you feel the anguish and despair of which Costa speaks. [Revolver]
