Lionheart Get Familial on ‘Brothers Keeper’ — Song Premiere
Besides death and taxes, we can all count on hardcore always being there for us. And it's definitely the more preferable of the three. Lionheart, the Bay Area hardcore juggernauts, will add to their discography -- and the world of hardcore in general -- with their sophomore offering, 'Built on Struggle.'
Noisecreep is proud to premiere the song 'Brothers Keeper,' the third track from the new album. "The song is about my brother, who is going through issues including substance abuse and incarceration and my support for him," vocalist Rob Watson told Noisecreep.
Listen to 'Brothers Keeper'
'Brothers Keeper' features guest vocals from ex-100 Demons vocalist Bruce LaPage, as well as a guitar solo from Dave Nassie of Suicidal Tendencies/Bleeding Through fame. There are other guest appearances on 'Built on Struggle,' like Earth Crisi vocalist Karl Buechner and Bleeding Through vocalist Brandan Schiepatti.
"We play ['Brothers Keeper'] live now, and I talk about my inspiration for the song," Watson explained, "and it's amazing how many people come up to me after the show with similar stories of supporting someone in their family with similar issues."
Pre-orders for 'Built on Struggle' ship on Jan. 18 via Mediaskare Records. Lionheart will be touring Europe all of January with Terror and First Blood to support the new release.
