Ever wonder what goes into creating an album cover? Most often, it's not just about taking a photograph or drawing a picture. For Fair to Midland's 'Arrows & Anchors' cover, artist Isaac "Eye Sack" Flores said that he wanted to create something monumental in size for a monumental band.

In the video below, Flores talks about wanting to create something real, original, attention-grabbing and different from anything that the progressive-leaning band had done before. Over the course of two days, Flores moved 750 pounds worth of Mexican beach pebbles and arranged them on a hill in order to form the giant logo you see on the album cover.

What a labor of love.
