Death Division + White Wizzard Guitarists Join Shreds of Insanity Metal Exposition

The Shreds of Insanity Expo will feature metal shredders from four up-and-coming metal bands. The featured guitarists include Dave Silver of Savage Messiah, Parker Jameson of Starkill, Jake Dreyer of White Wizzard and Rick Di Marco of Death Division. And special guest Francesco Artusato of All Shall Perish is scheduled to make an appearance. The event is sponsored by Century Media Records, Dunlop and Cleartone Strings.

The expo, which is free to attend, will feature the guitarists showing off their shredding skills in events like head-to-head solo dueling. Fans will also get a chance to ask the musicians questions about their playing.

Those in attendance will also have a chance to win prizes, such as tickets to see Wintersun, Arsis, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Starkill at the House of Blues Sunset that same night. Other prizes include a free subscription to Decibel Magazine and swag from Century Media, Nuclear Blast, and Earache Records.

One of the bands represented by guitarist Rick Di Marco, Death Division, recently self-released a five-song EP ‘MMXIII.’ The band formed last year, and features an impressive lineup of metal veterans. Death Division bassist Jerry Montano has played with acts such as Nothingface, Hellyeah, and Danzig. And drummer Tim Yeung plays with legendary death metal outfit Morbid Angel. Death Division quickly made a big impression after getting a spot on the Gigantour metal festival this summer.

Jake Dreyer and White Wizzard recently released their third studio album, ‘The Devil’s Cut.’ Along with the standard cd release, the band also released a limited run of vinyl in different colors. Next month the band heads across the Atlantic to start their European tour.
