Bury Your Dead Drop First New Song in Eight Years
Hey, Bury Your Dead, it's been a while — eight years to be exact. The Boston metalcore outfit last released Mosh n' Roll in 2011 and lightly toured last year. Things are moving forward as the group has just released the new track "Collateral" ahead of their special concert planned for tomorrow (March 23).
"You fucking crossed the line," barks frontman Mat Bruso as the track fades in. "Collateral" is total brick-bath, leaning heavily in the hardcore direction with jarring chugs and sustained, dissonant chords.

The current lineup of Bury Your Dead consists of Bruso, Aaron "Bubble" Patrick (bass), Chris Towning (guitar) and Mark Castillo (drums). Castillo is the last remaining original member, although he has not been a constant member. Guitarist Brendan MacDonald, who was also an original, split with the group this year.
Bury Your Dead will perform at the Still Alive festival in Anaheim, California tomorrow (March 23) and will welcome former singer Myke Terry to the stage for a special show consisting of the set list from the 2005 Alive DVD.
There are no other shows on the band's schedule as of yet and it is unknown if they plan to release a full length record on the heels of "Collateral."
