Mastodon guitarist and vocalist Bret Hinds appears in the latest video by Zoroaster, 'White Dwarf,' which comes from the band's 2009 album 'Voice of Saturn.' The clip features an abstract Mastodon-worthy concept about a white dwarf star that crashes into Saturn, causing aliens to seek refuge on Earth. The extraterrestrials, played by the members of Zoroaster, arrive on the blue planet to wreak havoc in a movie theater filled with patrons watching a 3D sci-fi matinee.

Zoroaster entered the studio on March 1 to record their new album 'Matador,' which is being produced by Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium, Pelican, Yakuza) and engineered by Ed Rawls.

The new songs were described by BrooklynVegan, who also premiered the new video, as having "the weighty Zoroaster feel, but with less of the droney heaviness and a more direct, almost doom-meets-crust-punk direction." 'Matador' will come out on July 13 and a release party with All The Saints and Wizard Smoke is scheduled for July 17 in Atlanta.
