Georgia post-hardcore powerhouse Woe, Is Me had a tumultuous 2012. They saw heavy turnover in band personnel but regrouped and refined, and today seem to be stronger than ever. Woe, Is Me's second studio album, Genesi[s], was released by Rise Records last year and the group is currently out on tour with Of Mice & Men.

At the band's recent sold-out House of Blues Hollywood gig, Noisecreep had the chance to spend a little time with Woe, Is Me drummer Austin Thornton to hear the band's plans for 2013 and the concert that changed his life.

Thornton, who started the band in 2009 along with Kevin Hansen, Corey Ferris and Ben Ferris is now, along with Hansen the last original member of the band.
