The Smashing Pumpkins had to pre-empt their plans to perform at the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Halloween of last year when Hurricane Sandy blew through on a path of destruction. The show was postponed to Dec. 10 and the event is now immortalized in the form of 'Oceania: Live in NYC,' which is due out Sept. 3.

The Pumpkins played 'Oceania' from start to finish for the first half of the show. They wrapped the second half with classics and deeper cuts from their vast catalog.

The release is being made available in four configurations: a standard Amaray DVD; a 3D Blu-ray DVD; a Deluxe 2CD+DVD set; and in digital long form. The DVD and Blu-ray feature the full show, along with interviews with Sean Evans, the lighting director and stage producer, plus a photo gallery, both with 5.1 and stereo audio. The bonus content really does appear to offer an inside look at the show.
