The Chariot Reveal Upcoming Album Title (EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW)
The Chariot vocalist Josh Scogin revealed to Noisecreep that the title of the band's upcoming album is One Wing. It's their first sonic volley for new label eOne and while there is no release date yet, the singer did share some details that should whet fan appetites.
We rapid-fired questions at him and he answered, sharing that the album is the "weirdest" of the band's catalog and what keeps this "job" fresh for him.
Can you give us some sort of scoop on the new album? Any details or exclusive info you can share?
One Wing is by far the weirdest album we have ever done. This is now our fifth album and we really wanted to explore our space on this one. It still has high energy and very stressful parts, but we have incorporated more journeys in this album than we have ever before. I feel like it should be listened to in order to really feel the effect.
What can we expect on the upcoming Scream It Like You Mean It tour?
Expect a good time from guys that absolutely LOVE what we are doing.
At this point, The Chariot are scene vets. What keeps you doing this? What keeps it fresh?
"Forget not your first love." I really don't see how people can grow stale from playing live shows every night. By its very nature, it is supposed to be FRESH. You never know what people are going to show up, or how many people [will show up], or what the stage is like or what technical difficulty will arise or any number of things..The only thing NOT fresh is the band itself -- if they allow it to be so.
