Slipknot’s Clown to Star in ‘The Devil’s Carnival’ Horror Film

Now Loudwire reports that Slipknot's Shawn 'Clown' Crahan will make his acting debut in an upcoming thriller.
'The Devil's Carnival' recently wrapped shooting on Jan. 18, and will feature the Slipknot drummer alongside Ogre from Skinny Puppy in a theme park-based flick from hell. The film is intended to be in addendum to 'Repo! The Genetic Opera,' director Darren Lynn Bousman's last musical venture.
"I am very honored to have been asked to be a part of this project," Crahan tells Loudwire. "I play a character called The Tamer. And let me tell you, there is a little Tamer in all of us."
"It's always been a dream and a goal for me to try and act in something that is filmed besides music videos. I am very honored to have the opportunity to have worked with so many talented actors and people who are involved in making this production come to life."
