Prog mavens Redemption, who released 'Snowfall on Judgement Day' last fall via Inside Out, will headline the Whiskey in Los Angeles on Feb. 4 and UBs in Mesa, Ariz. on Feb. 5. These are the band's first gigs since late 2007, so a Redemption show is certainly an event in the prog world, given the rare nature of their live appearances

"These are a couple of relatively rare headlining shows for us, prior to some additional support dates we plan for later in the year in the U.S." guitarist Nick Van Dyk told Noisecreep. "And hopefully, some headlining club shows as well as some festivals in Europe later this year."

Listen to 'Walls'

Van Dyk continued, "We'll be playing several songs from our new release, 'Snowfall on Judgment Day,' and based on what we see in both formal reviews and informal Internet comments, we will play the popular ones that people will be pleased to hear. Plus our fans can count on a good dose of music from our earlier releases. It's going to be great to be back on stage and playing."

Hey Nick, if you're reading this, we'd like to hear 'Walls' live!
