The formation of Prophets of Rage was one of the most exciting aspects of 2016. As political turmoil mounts worldwide, the band's members have rallied together under the rap-rock hybrid, hellbent on delivering music with a message during these shaky times. With their self-titled debut arriving Sept. 15, they've just unleashed the fourth new offering from the album, "Strength in Numbers," heard below.

The track opens with a spotlight guitar strumming from Tom Morello before the song lunges into another one of his signature styled riffs. "Strength in Numbers" demonstrates a push and pull energy, dipping into a more subdued approach over the verse, only to surge with more heaving riffs, reaching a rising, cinematic climax over the chorus.

"'Strength in Numbers' is a Molotov Marshall Stack Manifesto,” commented Morello. “We stand together or we fall apart. The world is in chaos, but if we're gonna go down we're gonna go down together...AND we're gonna go down swinging. The question remains: can we be as united in the streets as we are in the mosh pit? Let's find out."

Fans should start to piece together an idea of what Prophets of Rage will sound like as the band has previously released videos for "Radical Eyes," "Living on the 110" and the Michael Moore-directed "Unf--k the World." Prophets of Rage will perform four intimate gigs this month starting Sept. 7 and the list of dates can be seen here.
