Nine Inch Nails to Embark on ‘Tension’ 2013 Arena Tour

Nine Inch Nails really are back and in multiple ways. Trent Reznor has fully resurrected the band, with a new single ('Come Back Haunted'), a new album ('Hesitation Marks,' out Sept. 3) and now a new tour (the 'Tension' trek), launching on Sept. 28. So there's a whole lot of NIN going on in the next few months, to the delight of fans, of course.

The band, who had already signed on for several festivals in the U.S. and abroad, will hit the road and canvas arenas all over the U.S. and Canada this fall on their intriguingly titled 'Tension' tour.

Frontman Trent Reznor said, "'Tension' picks up where 'Lights in the Sky' left off. This is the full-on NIN live experience, realized as we never could before." If that doesn't stoke your fire of interest, then nothing else will.

Canadian instrumental auteurs Godpseed You! Black Emperor are set to open some dates, while Explosions in the Sky will support on others. There is also another support act that has yet to be announced.
