DevilDriver + Trivium Add More Dates to Fall 2013 Tour

After initially announcing a tour that runs from tomorrow (Sept. 12) through Oct. 17, DevilDriver and Trivium have added a second leg of shows. The trek will now go through Dec. 14, adding almost 30 more dates to their schedule.

The initial leg of the tour will feature support bands After the Burial and Sylosis. After the Burial return for the second half of the tour, which kicks off Nov. 5 in Seattle. Thy Will Be Done will serve as the openers.

Trivium are touring in support of their upcoming album 'Vengeance Kills,' which will be released Oct. 15. They just unveiled the video for the song 'Strife.'

DevilDriver's sixth album 'Winter Kills' was released at the end of August. One of the highlights is their version of AWOLNATION's song 'Sail.' In a recent interview, frontman Dez Fafara revealed he first heard the song through his teenaged sons.

"I was in the car one day and they were playing the song and I absolutely connected with the lyrics 'Blame it on my ADD,'" Fafara said. "I mean, I suffered from attention deficit my whole life. And the song has the word sail in it and I’ve been on tour for 20 years so I liked it. I hit the guys up, they got back to me in 5 minutes and we’re like let’s cover this."
