Kirk Hammett Penning Autobiography

Is there anything this man can't do? Metallica shredder Kirk Hammett is using his hands in a different way right now -- he's writing his autobiography. Hammett told Ultimate-Guitar that he will spend the next year of his life writing his memoir. Of the endeavor, Hammett said, "It feels like I'm making a solo album because it is so much work!"

Hammett also said he is considering writing a solo album once he puts the book to bed. A Kirk Hammett solo album? Will there be cameos from James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich? One can't help but wonder.
