And you thought Apocalyptica was the only band that could interpret metal via an entirely different genre's lens! You haven't met Metalachi -- the world's first and only metal mariachi band.

Metalachi are brothers from the same mother, but with different fathers, since they admit their mother was promiscuous, yet they love her anyway. Whether or not that information is tongue-in-cheek or for real is up to interpretation, just like their takes on metal songs!

The bros. share a love of metal and they are cornering the market and creating their own genre.

During a chat with KLAQ in El Paso, they talked about hearing Black Sabbath's Paranoid as "puppies" and it thus changed their lives. Check out a video of Metalachi performing at the station. Their version of "Iron Man" at about two minutes into the clip.

Fast forward to the eight-minute mark, since that's when they rip through Slayer's "Raining Blood." It gets two enthusiastic horns up.
