Machine Head are looking for a temporary bassist to perform with the band at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival this summer. Longtime bassist Adam Duce left the band earlier this year.

The band is accepting YouTube videos of standalone performances of "This Is the End," "Halo" and "Beautiful Mourning" -- just prospective bassists, singing and playing bass along to the tracks. A camera phone is fine, as long as it's stable.

Applicants are also asked to include a one-to-two minute testimonial about their musical experience, touring, performing history and more.

Those who are interested can upload videos to YouTube and e-mail a link (or links) to

The band's Until You Heart Stops and Beyond Hypothermia albums on HydraHead remain unfuckwithable classics.

Skillet will release Rise on June 25. It's the band's first concept album revolving around an American teen as he faces adulthood.
