Krokus, ‘Hoodoo’ — New Album
For the first time in two decades, Krokus -- also known as Switzerland's biggest metal band -- will release a new studio album. The work, called 'Hoodoo,' features 11 tracks and was recorded by Dennis Ward and was produced by Krokus bassist and founding member Chris Von Rohr.
'Hoodoo' is a comeback album in that the work features all original band members. It will be released in America on May 25. A limited edition digipak version is available that also features a DVD of the band's 2008 reunion concert.
"It was my responsibility as producer to bring out of each musician their individual strength and to continue sound wise where we left off with 'Metal Rendez-Vous' and 'Headhunter,'" Von Rohr said about the album via a press release. "Back to the roots -- but with today's power, unstoppable like a steamroller!"
Sony Music Independent Network will distribute the album. The band has summer appearances scheduled at various European rock festivals.
