Fight or Flight, the new band featuring guitarist Dan Donegan and drummer Mike Wengren of Disturbed, alongside Evans Blue vocalist Dan Chandler, will release their album 'A Life By Design?' on July 23, but you can enjoy an early taste of what's to come with their compelling video for 'First of the Last,' which questions authority and pretty much everything else in its visuals and plot.

The clip, with its bright, bold cinematography, features footage of the band performing spliced with a compelling narrative, detailing the social issues that affect us all.

"It is our right to stand up and ask questions," Donegan told Revolver. "That is the only way to get to the truth! We shouldn't go through life being spoon fed by the media or our government and accept everything we are told. The more we educate ourselves, the better we are at understanding what the future holds for us and our children."

Childhood vaccinations are questioned, and gun control queries are raised. The video also asks a lot of "what ifs," like what happens when a convenience store owner has a chance encounter with a customer who doesn't steal from the open cash register, leading him to surrender the gun he keeps behind the counter for protection? Was it a smart choice? No spoilers here. Watch the video below to find out.

Population control, genetically modified foods and RFID chips also factor into the equation, along with scenes of fat cat politicians who call the shots. Overall, the video certainly suggests that we don't know who to trust and with good reason.
