On the Evergrey Facebook fan page, you can check out videos of the band recording 'Glorious Collision.' But it's not the standard footage you can see from just any band. You can view vocalist Tom S. Englund recording in his skivvies.

"We spent our time recording the drums in the world's hottest studio," Englund told Noisecreep. "'Hot' not meaning something positive, but just f---ing boiling. I even had to sit and produce the drums and the recording in my underwear. On top of that, I booked the bass player's flight wrongly, which gave him roughly 15 hours to record, instead of the planned four to five days. The rest of it and more neurotic producer behavior can be watched at the above address so please join us there!"

Englund also told us that he and keyboardist Rikard Zander were avid soccer players when they were kids, but "music stole us from sports, so now we just watch in envy." Maybe some soccer players are listening to Evergrey with envy.

'The Glorious Collision' is out Feb. 22.
