Disturbed / Device Frontman David Draiman Calls Out ‘Rolling Stone’ Over Controversial Boston Bomber Cover

There have been many polarizing figures on the cover of 'Rolling Stone' magazine over the years, but their latest cover boy has definitely raised the ire of many, as they've given a spotlight to the surviving Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsamaev. You can count Device and Disturbed frontman David Draiman among those incensed by the coverage and the vocalist did not hold back in his rant about the decision.

Many are stating that by granting the bomber publicity it is sending the wrong message, and you can count Draiman among those puzzled by the decision. After pointing out how the media used the George Zimmerman trial for their own personal agendas earlier this week, he now takes his shot squarely at one media outlet -- 'Rolling Stone' -- for this latest discretion in judgment.

YOU HAVE NOT ONLY SUCCEEDED IN BLATANTLY INSULTING AND DISHONORING THE VICTIMS AND FAMILIES WHOSE LIVES WERE FOREVER EFFECTED BY THIS RABID ANIMAL, BUT YOU HAVE NOW GLORIFIED HIS COWARDLY AND UNFORGIVABLE ACT. WHY? BECAUSE IT WILL SELL MAGAZINES? BECAUSE IT WILL CREATE CONTROVERSY? BECAUSE YOU ACTUALLY DO SYMPATHIZE WITH THIS ABHORRENT, COWARDLY, PIECE OF S---? MAY YOUR CONSCIENCES (IF YOU EVEN HAVE THEM) WEIGH IMMEASURABLE HEAVY ON YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIVES. I CONDEMN THIS ACT, THIS NOTION, AND THIS WORTHLESS PIECE OF S--- F---ING RAG OF A MAGAZINE. MAY THE POWERS THAT BE HAVE MERCY UPON YOUR SOULS, BECAUSE THE NEXT TIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS, I ASSURE YOU, THE WORLD WONT.
