Dave Mustaine is going classical. The guitarist and Megadeth frontman will be a featured soloist with the San Diego Symphony in April 2014. He will be included in a program that will feature Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyrie" from Die Walküre; Vivaldi's "Winter" from The Four Seasons; and Dvorak's "Symphony No. 9" (the "New World" Symphony). The goal of incorporating a metal musician of Mustaine's caliber is to help the symphony reach new audiences. Mustaine's exact involvement is currently being hammered out. [Megadeth Official Site]

Those are some righteous additions!
