Bison B.C. have landed a coveted support slot for alt-metal legends Helmet during the month of September. The Vancouver, B.C.-based band, whose sound Thrasher magazine referred to as "heavy as f---," will kick off the stint on Sept. 8 in Sacramento, Calif. at Harlow's Night Club, dip into their homeland of Canada for a few shows, and cap it off on Sept. 26 in Redondo Beach, Calif. at BriXton.

In a press statement issued by Metal Blade Records about the Bison B.C. tour dates, guitarist/vocalist James Farwell said, "I first started listening to Helmet when I was doing bonelesses [sic] and acid drops, wasted in back alleys with big pants and small wheels, a long fucking time ago. Now my body is a jerk, but I still think of them when I drop tune. It is a fucking goddamn honor to tour with Helmet."

Bison B.C. released their most recent album, 'Dark Ages,' in April, and have since been out on the road with such bands as Priestess, Baroness and 3 Inches of Blood.
