August Burns Red will return to the U.S. and embark on a five-week, 30-city tour of North America. The band enjoyed a European festival and headline run. They will resume North American touring on Aug. 31 with The Color Morale, The Overseer and a special guest to be named at a later date. Ever the road warriors, the tireless PA band will then hit Europe again, playing 12 countries in four weeks after the North American run. They'll have a lot of miles on their van and stamps in their passports. The band is also offering VIP packages which include t-shirts, lithos and more, like their forthcoming Christmas album. Aussie rockers Parkway Drive are sequestered in a Los Angeles studio, hard at work on their fourth album. The as-yet-untitled effort is the follow-up to 2010's Deep Blue. Of the new material, vocalist Winston McCall says "When we finished Deep Blue I was like, 'I don't know where we go from here?' But if there was ever a way to step up from the last record, this is the way to do it. We're expanding in every way we can. But at the same time – and I say this with every new record – it still sounds like Parkway." We'll take it! [Alternative Press]
