Well this should get your blood pumping! Sprung Monkey are ramping up to their new album 'Dead Is Dead' and Noisecreep is proud to bring you the adrenaline-filled lyric video for the title track.

As if the rapid fire pacing of the track wasn't enough to get your pulse racing, the visuals showcase a darkened debris-filled sky with the occasional shell-casings rapidly approaching the screen and some blood red splatter lighting up the atmosphere.

Frontman Steve Summers told Noisecreep exclusively about the track, "Being raised in San Diego, a military town, one gains a certain honor and respect for those who risk their lives on behalf of us all. The song 'Dead Is Dead' was inspired and written with those people in mind. When push comes to shove … they are the ones who get the job done."

'Dead Is Dead' is just one of many high energy tracks on the disc of the same name. Summers and his Sprung Monkey cohorts have made sure to put forth an effort that will move their listeners. The singer explains, "We wanted to create a full firing, high energy record that we could take to the stage and play start to finish. No filler, no fluff. Having self-produced this it is a true representation of what we wanted to create, and we had no outside influences with their diluting suggestions. Things feel fresh and alive right now and the excitement towards the future of Sprung Monkey is infectious."

If you like what you hear, Sprung Monkey's 'Dead Is Dead' album arrives in stores Nov. 26 and is currently available for pre-order via iTunes. That same night the band will begin a West Coast tour with their CD release party at the Slidebar in Fullerton, Calif. They're also playing shows into December, sharing stages with Suicidal Tendencies. On a side note, Suicidal Tendencies' Mike Muir also makes a guest turn on the 'Dead Is Dead' album. To keep up with all things Sprung Monkey, check out their Facebook page here.
