SOiL Unveil Title, Track Listing + Release Date for Sixth Studio Album

SOiL have undergone several changes over the years, but with frontman Ryan McCombs returning to the band, the group offers its most familiar voice on their sixth studio album, 'Whole.'

The group has announced an Aug. 20 release date for the disc via Pavement Entertainment, and their new record deal gives them more control than ever over their own music. Bassist Tim King says, "We wanted to call all the shots on this album and, for the first time ever, hold our future in our own hands."

As such, SOiL will trot out 'Shine On' as the lead single from the 'Whole' album. The track heads to radio on June 18 and will be available digitally for fans as of June 25. The group just shot a video for the song, which will debut shortly. The full album track listing can be seen below.

With McCombs returning for his first disc with the band since 2004's 'Re.de.fine,' the comfort level slipped right back into place. Guitarist Adam Zadel says, "This was by far the most comfortable and natural recording process we have ever experienced. From the writing, pre-production and through the main tracking and mixing, everything was smooth and fluid." In addition to McCombs, Zadel and King, the group filled out their lineup with veteran drummer Will Hunt, who is currently touring with Device. The band also welcomed Staind's Mike Mushok for a guest guitar solo on the song 'Wake Up.'
