Sixx: A.M. Land Bleeker Ridge Drummer Dustin Steinke for Spring 2015 Tour
Sixx: A.M. are getting ready to hit the road this spring, playing their first extended trek since 2008's Crue Fest. The group has primarily been a studio band over the years due in part to the outside commitments of each of the band members and the fact that they didn't have a permanent drummer. But with Modern Vintage, the group is giving the album full support and they've secured a drummer for their upcoming dates.
Bleeker Ridge stickman Dustin Steinke will join the group for their upcoming headline shows that begin April 8 in San Francisco. The group will be supported by Apocalyptica and Vamps on the upcoming run. According to Blabbermouth, Steinke made his debut with Sixx: A.M. in February during a show in Tokyo hosted by Sixx: A.M.'s upcoming support act, Vamps.
The group recorded their Modern Vintage album and played a show last fall with drummer Jeff Fabb. However, the drummer also plays in Black Label Society and the Zakk Wylde-led band is out on tour during the month of April, leading to a conflict.
Aside from playing with Sixx: A.M., Steinke has been spending plenty of time with frontman James Michael. The vocalist lent his production skills to Bleeker Ridger's upcoming album, which is expected later this year via Eleven Seven.
