It's hard to imagine Pantera/Down vocalist Phil Anselmo doing anything but fronting metal bands.

But turns out that Anselmo, 44, had a handful of pretty terrible pre-fame job.

While he loved his gig on a shrimp boat, but he hated washing dishes at a Chinese restaurant and being a busboy at an Italian restaurant. He almost clocked the maître d.

Check out the video below where Anselmo talks about his awful 9-to-5s. He spoke about his videotape collection and his childhood pet.

Shawn Spann, vocalist for I The Breather, has launched a management company called Creation Artists. He is currently seeking out up and coming bands to support with his company.

In a statement, Spann expressed why he elected to launch the company. He is also seeking managers, interns and talent to represent.

"Aside from fronting my own band, I The Breather, I found a love and passion of the management aspect in bands. I love coming up with ideas that I feel will work to benefit bands and watch them either fail or grow. Its something many people never get the chance to experience. I figured that the opportunity was given to me to chase my dream and it was my chance to give it back to the world. With that being said, "Creation Artist Development" was born in May of 2012 to help guide artists in a professional direction. I built a team that does our best to help guide artists through many fazes of being a band, Ranging from helping them with learning proper promotion skills to managing finances. A band is much more than fun and games, It is a business and if you do not treat it as one it will not last. I plan on making this company grow into a dominant future music industry titan. Keep your eyes peeled for us because WE WILL be making an impact on this music industry, Theirs no doubt in my mind... Its just a matter of time."

Your favorite metal acts often double as actors, or at least have cameos, in films. Did you know Maynard James Keenan from Tool appeared in one of the Crank films? Lemmy from Motorhead was in Airheads and Ozzy Osbourne was in Little Nicky. Check out the rock star cameos you may or may not have missed. [Loudwire]
