Pantera and Down frontman Philip Anselmo and his horror-loving pal, true crime author Corey Mitchell, sure know how to throw a bash! The performance lineup for the inaugural Housecore Horror Film Festival was just unveiled and it includes Anselmo's own projects -- Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals and Down -- as well as Gwar, Goblin, Crowbar, Warbeast and many more.

The full bill also includes Eyehategod, Goatwhore, Pig Destroyer, Repulsion, Whitechapel, Pallbearer, Skrew, Iron Reagan, Ancient Vvisdom, Bloody Hammers, Star & Dagger, Primitive Weapons, Child Bite, Hymns, Death Will Tremble, a Band of Orcs, Headcrusher, Dead Earth Politics, Lord Dying, White Widows Pact, the Black Moriah, Cavalcade, First Jason, Blackqueen, Goatcraft, Honky and Chris Vrenna.

Anselmo says, "For a cat like myself, bringing in all of these killer bands to play the Housecore Horror Film Festival is nothing but pure pleasure. I'd like to thank all of the bands from all over the globe that are on the bill. I feel like we've compiled an extremely versatile line-up of established acts, as well as some killer up-and-comers. I'd also like to give a huge 'thumbs-up' to all of the Austin, Texas bands that will be a huge part of this crazy event, because it seems these bands fly way too far below the radar."

In addition to the bands, the weekend will also provide fans the opportunity to screen a number of top horror films, including Dario Argento's 'Suspiria,' 'Dawn of the Dead,' 'Tenebre,' Deep Red' and more.

The event runs Oct. 24-27 in Austin, Texas and tickets are available in several different options. Those who wish to purchase a Combo badge that will give them access to both the music and film festivals may do so for $199. The Music Only badge goes for $129 and the Film Only badge will cost $99.
