Over the past few months, Five Finger Death Punch and In This Moment have both received Golden God awards from Future publications. In This Moment singer Maria Brink took home Hottest Chick in Metal honors at the Revolver Golden Gods in the U.S. And more recently, FFDP took Best Breakthrough Band and guitarist Zoltan Bathory won Best Shredder at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods in London. Since the events were on opposite sides of the pond, the bands weren't able to celebrate their victories together, but they'll have plenty of time to toast one another's triumphs on this summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.

When we had Brink and FFDP Drummer Jeremy Spencer on last week's ''Creep Show,' they certainly seemed chummy as they chatted about their plans to barbecue, goof off and drink merrily when they're not on stage.

Five Finger Death Punch will be celebrating the continued success of their 2009 album 'War is the Answer.' And In This Moment will be supporting their third album, 'Star Crossed Wasteland,' which comes out July 13..

Joining Brink and Spencer on the podcast were 'Creep Show' moderator Jon Wiederhorn, lead Noisecreep blogger Amy Sciarretto and Big Machine publicity Vice President Jamie Roberts. In addition to talking about the Mayhem Festival -- which launches July 10 in San Bernardino, Calif. and runs through Aug. 14 in Oklahoma City -- Brink and Spencer talked about their latest albums, favorite new bands, funniest drinking adventures and joined us for a pointed and at times humorous look at the week's news.
