Morgan Dana Harrington, a 20-year-old Virginia Tech student who was last seen wearing a Pantera shirt, a black skirt and boots, and hasn't been seen since Metallica's Oct. 17 gig in Charlottesville, Va., is still missing. And now, Metallica themselves are asking anyone with information about Harrington's whereabouts to come forward to police.

"We are deeply concerned about the disappearance of Morgan Dana Harrington," who is blonde and blue-eyed, Metallica writes on its Web site. "She was not carrying I.D. or a cell phone. Morgan was separated from her friends shortly before 9 PM at the venue, and police have been searching the area since Monday. We encourage anyone who has any information regarding Morgan's disappearance to please come forward. Our thoughts are with Morgan and her family for her safe return."

Meanwhile, hundreds have joined an online Facebook group, dedicated to finding Harrington.

Virginia State Police are also asking anyone who may have taken video or photos from Saturday's Metallica concert to review the images, to see if they show Harrington, an education major. According to one of the missing girl's friends, Harrington left the arena before Metallica came on stage and did not rejoin the people she came with. Her purse and cell phone were later found outside, and Harrington's car remains in the venue's parking lot.

Police are following up on dozens of tips, and are canvassing the area around the venue, in search of any clues.

"We have no evidence that a crime has been committed," said Lt. Joe Rader of the Virginia State Police during a press conference Monday. "It's unusual that we haven't heard anything from her friends or family regarding her whereabouts. That's the biggest concern currently: her whereabouts and her welfare."

Morgan's father, Dan Harrington, told reporters he expected his daughter to come home on Sunday. When she didn't show, he knew something was off. He described her as a "really great kid. She loved music and occasionally went to large concerts. She was an artist and liked to read."

On Oct. 30, Metallica will be joined by Ozzy Osbourne at Madison Square Garden as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
