The hard rock world is still in shock from yesterday's news that Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins had been charged with child sex offenses.

Watkins has been charged with conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a female under 13 and possession/distribution of indecent images of children. He was denied bail after appearing at a magistrates' court in Cardiff Bay yesterday (Dec. 19).

The rest of Lostprophets released the following statement regarding Watkins' arrest:

"Following charges made today against Ian Watkins, we find ourselves in a state of shock. We are learning about the details of the investigation along with you. It is a difficult time for us and our families, and we want to thank our fans for their support as we seek answers."
