Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe and the French band Gojira go way back. Blythe co-wrote and appeared on the track "Adoration for None" back on Gojira's 2008 album The Way of All Flesh. This past weekend, the singer crossed paths with the band again as they jammed the song "Backbone" from 2005's From Mars To Sirius.

It has been a while since Blythe had performed "Backbone" with Gojira, but it happened once again during Gojira's set at the Santiago Gets Louder festival in Chile. Watch fan-shot footage of the performance above.

Blythe also posted about the jam session on his Instagram account. He says it took some cajoling from Gojira's Joe Duplantier because his stomach was screwed up and he was tired, but in the end he agreed.

Lamb of God are touring in support of their latest album VII: Sturm and Drang. They have some time off before kicking off a European run that begins Nov. 9 in Dublin, Ireland. For all their dates, go here.
