One of the many pleasures behind the recent release of Ubisoft's 'Rayman Legends' is the collaboration of artists inspired by the franchise. The music video for 'Picture Perfect Phantasy' is a psychedelic, funk jam featuring a collaboration with Incubus founding members Dirk Lance and Jose Pasillas II. Taking the mic is ex-Pharcyde MC Slimkid3 with Jurassic 5's DJ Nu-Mark displaying his turntablist skill set.

Although the clip features a few scenes of 'Rayman Legends' in the background, most of the video contains a hipster, cool, and ultimately surreal vibe that is provided by Los Angeles visual artist G-Netic. Most gamers have come to know Rayman as an energetic and bold adventurer, and this franchise hero is not exactly the type of character to sit back and take a chill pill. Our hero's indomitable spirit is still effectively captured by Slimkid3, who raps a chorus Rayman could definitely relate to: "You can't hold me / You can't break me / You can't fold me / You can't take me."

It's also great to know that 'Rayman' can bring musicians back together, as Lance and Pasillas II haven't recorded together since the 2001 Incubus album 'Morning View.' The foursome performed 'Picture Perfect Phantasy' under the moniker '4 Player Co-Op,' a reference to one of 'Rayman Legends'' game modes.

'Picture Perfect Phantasy' is available as a free download on the 'Rayman Legends' official Facebook page. One hundred copies of limited edition vinyl containing the song and an instrumental mix will be auctioned off for charity, with proceeds going to Incubus' Make Yourself Foundation. 'Rayman Legends' is currently available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, PC and Wii U systems.
