Flashback: Dave Mustaine Rocks ‘The Drew Carey Show’ [Watch]

In this episode of the 'Drew Carey Show,' Drew and the guys formed a band, but were not content with being a power trio. In a last minute effort to get someone to play guitar to fill in the sound, they decide to post a flyer to fill the vacancy in the band. Drew jokes, "Where are we gonna get somebody to play on one day's notice for only $10?"

The scene then cuts to Megadeth's Dave Mustaine auditioning for the band. He's busy shredding away and the guys interrupt him, telling him not to be nervous and slow down. Mustaine explains that it is supposed to sound like that. Drew doesn't buy the explanation and scoffs at Mustaine's playing and passes on the axeman joining the band.
