When singer Dee Snider gives a band props and says it reminds him of his own band Twisted Sister, you bet said band is worth paying attention to.

The group in question is gothy metallers Motionless in White. Snider stars in the band's video for 'Immaculate Misconception,' which was directed by his son Cody.

"Meeting and working with Chris and the rest of MiW has made me realize just how much the saying, 'The more things change, the more they stay the same,' rings true. Bands like MiW deal with the same misjudgment and ignorance that Twisted Sister dealt with when we were first starting out," Snider said. "In its own way, 'Immaculate Misconception' is the 'We're Not Gonna Take It' for its generation. It's an amazing song of defiance, rebellion and belief in one's own self worth."

Whoa. That's a hugecompliment for Snider to dole out, especially since 'We're Not Gonna Take It' is one of the most beloved and recognizable anthems of the '80s.

Snider continued, "Oddly, it was almost like having two of my sons working on the set.

My son Cody Blue helping MiW achieve their vision through his writing and directing and 'my son' Chris screaming and performing his heart out for what he believes in. Both were begat by me-in their own way- and I couldn't have been prouder!"

Aw, Papa Dee is so sweet, isn't he?
