The nominees for the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class have been revealed, with a number of name acts hoping to join RushHeart, Guns N' RosesMetallica, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and more. This Readers Poll asks which rock act from the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees you think is the most deserving of induction.

There are several potential hard rock nominees in this year's batch. Nirvana, who are celebrating the 20th anniversary of 'In Utero' this year, could be first ballot inductees for their efforts. Long snubbed rockers KISS, who have enjoyed a career resurgence in recent years, are also back on the ballot.

There's also the consistently rocking Deep Purple, proggy experimental collective Yes and former Genesis frontman-turned-solo artist Peter Gabriel. And in the "has it really been 25 years?" category, '80s college rock favorites the Replacements are also a possibility.

The ballot also features such non-hard rockers as Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, Hall and Oates, the Zombies, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Chic, NWA, LL Cool J, Link Wray and the Meters.

Fan voting for the Rock Hall has a minimal impact on the final outcome, as it accounts for just one of the 600 ballots cast, but we feel you should still have a place to voice your choice. Take a look at the rock nominees below and tell us which act you feel is most deserving of induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
