R. Loren, most notably known as the mastermind of Pyramids, is not understood to be a man who opts to tour. He is a man of the studio. This year has already been busy for the Texan, with Pyramids finally releasing their epic cassette box set collaboration (featuring Mamiffer and Romance of Young Tiger) and the star-studded project Sailors With Wax Wings.

But there's more. White Moth are his newest unveiling. This band packs a massive lineup, including Colin Marston (Krallice), Alec Empire (Atari Teenage Riot) and Shelby Cinca (Frodus).

White Moth keep the same ambient textures of Pyramids but rush into a melding of electra-hardcore and black metal. The first to be released, 'You Texas, Dark Star,' is available for streaming; it's a dark symphony truly unafraid of where it's leading.

White Moth's self titled debut is due out in October on Angel Oven. To truly keep up with the always-moving Loren, it's highly recommended to stalk his musical hub blog.
