We're about to be three months into 2011, and as the winter chill burns off, an influx of hard rock and metal releases are on their way. The economy is looking up and metal certainly is not in any sort of recession. All metal subgenres are well represented this March, which won't be a boring month for metal fiends.

Children of Bodom will shred their way back into our lives with 'Relentless Reckless Forever,' while Jag Panzer will soar their way to new heights along with the techy metal mathematicians of the Human Abstract, who will deliver 'The Scourge of Light' and 'Digital Veil,' respectively, on March 8.

March 15 brings the rap-metal stylings of Gold-sellers Hollywood Undead alongside the dirty Southern sounds of Weedeater. Trap Them's 'Darker Handcraft' is also on tap that week. No two albums on shelves this particular week sound alike.

TesseracT and Born of Osiris emerge from the underground on March 22, as do Swedish metal stalwarts the Haunted and Canadian forward thinkers Protest the Hero.

March 29 is blackened by Lightning Swords of Death and concussed by Cavalera Conspiracy, who are on their second record. Viking metallers Amon Amarth will pillage with 'Surtur Rising' on this day as well.

March is more metal than a mouthful of cavities.
