"We all listen to completely different things – different ends of the spectrum" Broadway front man Misha Camacho tells Noisecreep. "We all like heavy bands, we all like light bands, some pop music, rap so having all those extremes – we integrate that while writing music. We like to vary it up to keep people interested. When a band just sets their sites on one sound for an album...you listen to the album and you get kinda bored and it seems repetitive. We wanted people to be excited for the next song that comes on."

If you like screamo with a mix of party rock, Broadway just might be your next favorite band. The band – five guys based in Florida – mix party anthems, screaming and crazy song titles on their debut album 'Kingdoms.' The album is available now.

Metallers, fear not: this debut has definite street cred. Vocalists Craig Owens of Chiodos and Johnny Craig of Emarosa are featured on two tracks. "I personally grew up on Chiodos, so to have him [Craig Owens] first of all love our album and then want to do a guest spot...it's just insane!"

Broadway get creative with their song titles. Some of the tracks on 'Kingdoms' include "Meg Ryan Would Play You In The Movie," "Don't Jump The Shark Before You Save The Whale" and "Same Thing We Do Everyday Pinky." Of the Meg Ryan title, there's a perfectly logical explanation. "My mom loves all the cheesy romance movies and stuff," Camacho says very matter-of-factly. "I grew up on 'Sleepless in Seattle,' 'When Harry Met Sally,' all those Meg Ryan movies that are really cheesy stories and everything is a mess but it all works out in the end. That's what the song is about."
