Warped Tour 2013 Kia Forte Stage Photo Gallery – Black Veil Brides, The Used, Bring Me the Horizon + More

The high pitched screams of girls could be heard all throughout the five boroughs during the Vans Warped Tour’s recent New York stop. The shrieks were much louder at the Kia Forte Stage and for good reason, as some of the top acts on this year’s Warped run delivered electrifying sets.

The Black Veil Brides army came out in full force on the blistering Saturday afternoon. They sang old tracks and new anthems from the band’s latest release ‘Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones.’ Frontman Andy Biersack smiled and had the crowd in the palm of his hands and from the looks of the fans, they were more than overjoyed to be there.

Speaking of joy, it’s always a party when The Used comes to town. The band’s set started out with a tribute to Pussy Riot as the band and some of their close peeps took the stage in bright colored knitted headpieces in honor of the embattled female punk outfit.

Vocalist Bert McCracken showered photographers (including yours truly) and fans alike with colorful dye but who could be angry at the charismatic and simply charming frontman? The festivities continued as the crowd joined in on such notable tunes ‘Take It Away’ and ‘The Taste of Ink’ that have made the Used a household name for well over a decade.

Another frontman who had complete control of the crowd was Bring Me the Horizon singer Oli Sykes. The UK band brought sheer intensity to the Kia Forte Stage. Their performance included infectious songs from their lasted disc ‘Sempiternal’ not to mention halfway through their set they even got a circle pit going around the soundboard. Bring Me the Horizon definitely brought the heat and was a force to be reckoned with on the Kia Forte Stage.

Other bands that shared the stage included Chiodos, Sleeping With Sirens, Motion City Soundtrack, New Years Day and many others.
