February may be the shortest month of the year, but it's definitely not lacking in interesting and rocking releases. There's a solid mix of veteran rock and metal acts, up-and-comers and both audio and video releases which make February a solid month for new offerings. With that said, we want to know which new release you are most anticipating.

The release month begins Feb. 4 with metal vets Behemoth releasing 'The Satanist,' For Today offering 'Fight the Silence' and symphonic rockers Within Temptation issuing 'Hydra,' alongside records from up-and-comers Grand Magnus ('Triumph & Power') and Truckfighters ('Universe').

On Feb. 11, the Chino Moreno led Crosses release their '+++' disc, The Unguided leave their mark with 'Fragile Immortality' and 3 Years Hollow hope to breakout with 'The Cracks.' Plus, there's the 'Rainbow Singles Box' for the veteran rockers and Pussy Riot's 'Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer' DVD drops.

The most populated week of the month is Feb. 18, when Adrenaline Mob drop their 'Men of Honor' album, Bayside return with the 'Cult' album, Skindred deliver their latest ragga-metal offering 'Kill the Power' and Cynic ('Kindly Bent to Free Us') and I Killed the Prom Queen ('Beloved') also issue new discs. Plus, we get the Suicide Silence 'Ending Is Beginning: Mitch Lucker Memorial Show' tribute disc.

Finishing out the month on Feb. 25, we get the ambitious Dethklok rock opera, 'Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem: A Klok Opera' and Heart's 'Fanatic Live from Caesar's Colosseum' as a CD/DVD release.

Now that you've seen the albums and visual releases en route, we want to know which is your most anticipated release of February 2014. This poll will close on Jan. 31, 2013 and the winner will be deemed the new release of the month for February 2014 and featured in a post on the Noisecreep website.
