Metal fans will be spotting a UFO soon -- not in the sky but on venue stages, as the British hard rockers will return to North America this fall for a short but undoubtedly high impact tour. The band, which has been rocking consistently since 1969, has booked dates for October, from the 10th through the 22nd, with more dates on the horizon and to be announced imminently.

Right now, the tour looks to hit major East Coast and Midwest outposts.

The band's most recent album 'Seven Deadly' is available now and fans should expect them to play new tunes on the upcoming tour, along with some of their classic and revered anthems.

In related news, UFO guitarist Vinnie Moore will turn up at the Peter Frampton's Guitar Circus performance taking place Aug. 5 at the Bethlehem Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pa. Moore will join Frampton, Sonny Landreth and B.B. King on the bill. Ticketing details can be found here.
